This is seriously the nicest road we've ever been on in Peru. It goes from coast to jungle, is maintained by a private company, has several tolls, but wow it's worth it. They have little emergency cell-stations along the way, they really stay on top of the landslides and the road is pretty nicely paved for a majority of the way. Very nice. Very unusual for Peru.
